Sri Rajiv Jalota, (IAS), Chairman Mumbai Port Authority, and his Team, including Ms. Kalpana Desal, and Md. Rufi S. Qureshi, welcomed IMO Goodwill Maritime Ambassador George Hoyt, Adopt A Ship India Coordinator Ms. Kavitha Vinod, and WISTA India Founder Ms. Sanjam Sahi Gupta, to his office. It was agreed that the Mumbai Port Authority will explore ways of including Adopt A Ship in their efforts to help increase the awareness of, and appreciation for, the Maritime Community, and to also help improve Gender Diversity.
