INTERSHIP CREW PHILIPPINES Closing Ceremony with SPRCNHS

The closing ceremony at San Pedro Relocation Center National High School (SPRCNHS) highlighted the strong collaboration between Intership Crew Philippines and Adopt A Ship International in promoting maritime awareness among students. The program opened with an invocation and a nationalistic song performed by the school choir, setting a solemn and reflective tone.

In her opening remarks, Mrs. Wilma Trapago expressed appreciation for the partnership and its role in providing students with valuable learning opportunities. This was followed by a message from Dr. Rainiel Victor M. Crisologo, who underscored the importance of such initiatives in helping shape students’ future paths.

The ceremony featured an inspirational message from 2/Off Ric Sonza, who encouraged students to pursue their ambitions with discipline and respect for their parents, sharing how a maritime career can offer stability and growth. Capt. Jose Catapang Jr. further inspired students by emphasizing the importance of making informed decisions about their college paths and aspiring toward leadership roles in the maritime field.

Mr. George Hoyt delivered an engaging message on teamwork, using a symbolic activity to highlight the value of giving and the importance of family as a guiding support system. The program continued with a thank-you message from C/Officer Jeffrey Aldas, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session where Intership delegates advised students on academic pathways aligned with maritime and engineering fields, and expressed hope for future scholarship opportunities.

The ceremony also included the recognition of Quiz Bee winners and the awarding of certificates to teachers, administrators, and partner representatives. It concluded with closing remarks from Mrs. Cherrie C. Manaloto, who expressed gratitude for the program’s impact on students’ perspectives and aspirations.

The event formally ended with a closing statement from Master of Ceremony Ms. Beatriz Foyo, followed by a photo opportunity and a video presentation expressing appreciation to all partner organizations. Overall, the ceremony served as a meaningful conclusion—celebrating partnership, shared learning, and the continued effort to guide students toward future opportunities in the maritime industry.
