Adopt A Ship International and Marlow Navigation Hold Closing Ceremony On March 31, 2025
Adopt A Ship International, in partnership with Marlow Navigation, held its Closing Ceremony at San Pedro Relocation Center National High School. Assistant Principal II, Mrs. Jane M. Rama, welcomed everyone, emphasizing the program’s unique role in promoting maritime awareness. Principal IV, Mr. Enrique R. Malimata, reaffirmed the school’s commitment to continuing the partnership. Capt. Leo Tenorio shared his experiences at sea, inspiring students with the message, “We need you for the future of the maritime industry.” IMO Ambassador Mr. George Hoyt echoed this, emphasizing that children are the future, with AASI guiding them toward their aspirations. Mr. Jeffrey Aldas expressed gratitude to all contributors, while a quiz bee-style game added an interactive touch to the event. AP Coordinator Mrs. Wilma Trapago closed the ceremony by thanking participants for their support. The event successfully reinforced maritime awareness and inspired students to explore opportunities in the industry.
